Beatriz Alemar (@balemar), or Bea as I simply call her, is someone who literally caught my attention with smart comments on Brazen Careerist. Being someone who loves a smart mind, I reached out to her and quickly found out she was even better on Skype than her smart posts made me believe. She’s a consultant by day in the realms of social media and helping non-profits put wins on the boards but by night I’ve hooked her into doing a new podcast with me! I’m thoroughly excited to introduce you to Bea! Enjoy.
Today I am joined by Tim Fox (@sogeshirts). He’s best known for the company that he co-founded in San Diego where he and his co-founder create funny and creative t-shirts. Tim’s also a member of the hosting team over at Tees In A Pod and I’m happy to announce I will be on one of their upcoming episodes. Tim’s a guy who’ll catch you off guard with his entrepreneurial ways given that super laid back style of the way he speaks.
Rob Ryan (@laydumbrellaltd) is a part of two projects that really have caught my attention recently: Lady Umbrella, a company he cofounded to design and produce interesting printed t-shirts directly targeted toward women, and Tees in a Pod. Tees in a Pod is a podcast about social media in general but has a spin for how a creative driven business can take advantage of these new opportunities. Rob’s a smart guy who can execute on a plan and I enjoyed speaking with him immensely. Come meet Rob.
Amanda Ryan (@naturecreations) is representative of why I spend so much time in online communities. She’s smart, entrepreneurial and is never afraid to create a little content. On top of that her voice is almost a dead give away for Amber MacArthur’s which in my mind means she’s a perfect person to give a little Canadian flavor to a podcast. I was happy to record with her over the weekend and I hope you enjoy this episode.
