Episode #19 – @jaybaer

@jaybaerJay Baer, @jaybaer, is known for being one of the top minds in online marketing through his blog Convince and Convert.  He’s spoken at a lot of different events teaching companies and individuals how to stop focusing on the individual tools and start focusing on a larger strategy that helps convert consumers of content into customers.  I’ve had the great pleasure of hanging out with Jay a number of times including a couple of conferences last year where we had the opportunity to get fairly close.  Jay is a very smart and experienced online marketer who I look up to immensely.

Episode #18 – @pamslim

@pamslimPamela Slim (@pamslim) is an entrepreneur coach, blogger and award winning author. You can find her regular musings over at EscapeFromCubicleNation.com and I can not be thankful enough to Pam for the time and energy she has given me over the last 2+ years.  She is insanely smart and someone who I very obviously look up to as you’ll hear in this interview.  The underlying rhythm to both Pam’s book and blog of the same name is removing the fear and anxiety of starting a business and leaving a job that you’re not passionate about.  I regularly find inspiration from her posts and book.

Episode #17 – @tambre

@tambreSamantha Leopoldi, @tambre, is a woman who I’ve only had the pleasure of interacting with a few times.  That stated, you will see during this interview much like I did the first time we hung out, she’s smart, fun and extremely interesting.  Between her interest in the internet community, the comic book community, charity and a general need to help people promote their events, products and services I can see why she is a successful social media consultant.  I also enjoy her refreshing point of view on privacy relating to social media so be sure to listen until the end of the interview to hear how she uses Twitter especially in a very private manner.

Episode #16 – @thebrandbuilder

@thebrandbuilder

Olivier Blanchard, @thebrandbuilder, is one of the few people who I actively read every word in his blog posts and watch every video of his.  He describes himself as a brand management specialist which allows him to help companies and their brands as each organization needs.  Olivier is one of the smartest people bringing social media and business terms together and having them lead to actual profits.  He’s involved in a number of projects, most of which we get to talk about on the this episode.

@cbjerrisgaard Chris Bjerrisgaard (@cbjerrisgaard) is a smart man who’s been involved in a lot of different companies in various marketing roles.  That’s why I value his time and the way he rips apart my ideas and then puts them back together so that they are even better.  Chris talks about some of his current clients, his experience helping found Vancouver Craft Beer Week and points out some awesome twitter accounts to follow.

Episode #12 – @BabbaCo

@BabbaCo Jessica Kim (@BabbaCo) is one of those great people who if I never would have known as well as I do if I didn’t firmly believe in following up with almost everyone I meet. A chance encounter in New York City where we met in the hallway of an office building was all it took to start up one of the relationships that we’ve both really grown from. Jessica is the founder and CEO of BabbaCo a company dead set on making “Simple, fun and super cute” baby items, clothes and accessories. It’s been a joy to learn from her since we met last in June 2009 and I hope you take this opportunity to reach out to her.

Episode #11 – @kressaty

@kressaty Jonathan Kressaty (@kressaty) is an entrepreneur who I look up to immensely.  Professionally he’s best described at this point as a serial entrepreneur but I prefer to think of him as just an all around awesome guy who works hard to make businesses simply happen.  In this interview we talk about entrepreneurship and how he never thought he would be the guy owning and operating multiple businesses and some of the key features to his latest venture Betwext Pro.  He even informs me of one of his hobbies that I never heard him speak about before.
